The Concept:
Rudimentary Music is a concept that proposes going back to basics in music, respecting the essential elements of music like rhythm, melody and harmony.
It's an exploratory exercise of rhythms, styles and techniques that combines authenticity and simplicity. Avoiding current trends of using artificial tools such as Auto-tune and any other effects that will mask the music and take out its real appearance. Rudimentary Music allows for flaws and resemble the artisanal origin of music. There is no use of artificial intelligence.
As any art system, Rudimentary Music comprises certain simple rules or principles that guide its execution, such as:
- Keep it simple
- Respect basic elements of music
- Play the instruments (to the best of your abilities)
- Explore different styles and rhythms
- Do not use Autotune (for the love of God!!)
- Pay attention to details
- Accept the music as it is, with its flaws and highlights
- Learn through the process and grow with it
- Improve as you go
- Go back to basics when complexity takes over
- Incorporate foreign concepts (such as mathematical and other elements)
- Enjoy making music and sharing it
